he notes with satisfaction that the
Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
agree not to press for the immediate
payment of the final instalment of
8500,000 of the Hong Kong Govern-
ment's contribution towards the cost
of the new Naval Armament Depôt at
Stonecutters Island, and would raise

equivalent to £5,000 sterling being
withheld beyon the end of the
financial year 1934-5, if necessary,
pending a settlement of the question
